The name PHARCOS is a contraction of two words, “pharma” and “cosmetics”, anticipating what is now commonly referred to as the concept of “cosmeceuticals”. Historically, PHARCOS was the trademark of BIODUE S.p.A., which was founded in 1986 by Sion Fulvio Benedetti, the current Honorary Chairman of the company. Today, Biodue is a highly sophisticated industry, technology-wise, producing cosmetics, dietary supplements and medical devices.
